Who processes your data

Jeroen's Espresso is the controller for the personal data processed through this website. You can reach us at:

What we record

Only what you enter in the contact form yourself. Your name, email address and message are required. The rest is optional and worth filling in only if it helps:

• Name and company name
• Email address and phone number
• Type of enquiry, date and location of your event
• The content of your message

Why, and on what legal basis

We use your details solely to answer your enquiry and, if it leads to a booking, to carry it out. That is the performance of a contract or the steps leading up to it (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). For a general question, we rely on our legitimate interest in being able to answer it (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We do not use your details for newsletters, advertising or profiling, and we sell them to no one.

Who else sees your data

As few parties as possible. Two, specifically:

• Resend — sends the email around your enquiry: the notification to us and the confirmation to you. Your data may be processed outside the European Economic Area in the process.
• Our hosting provider — runs the website. Like every web server it records technical visit data, including your IP address, in log files.

How long we keep it

Your enquiry arrives as an email at info@jeroensespresso.nl and stays there for as long as it is relevant to our service. If it leads to a booking, the related records fall under the Dutch statutory retention period of seven years for business administration. If it goes no further, we clear the message once it no longer serves a purpose.

Cookies and measurement

This website places no analytics or marketing cookies. We do not measure browsing behaviour, and there is no advertising network script anywhere on the page. The fonts are served from our own server, so your browser does not have to fetch anything from a third party for them.

The only thing stored locally is your choice in the cookie banner. The cookie statement explains how that works.

Security

The website is only reachable over a secure connection (HTTPS). The form limits how many enquiries one visitor can send, to prevent abuse; for that we briefly keep a count per IP address in working memory. That count disappears on its own.

With parties that process data on our behalf we make written arrangements about security and confidentiality.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• see the data we hold about you
• have it corrected or completed
• have it erased
• have the processing restricted
• object to the processing
• receive your data in a common file format

A request or a complaint

Send an email to info@jeroensespresso.nl. We reply within four weeks. To make sure we do not hand data to the wrong person, we may ask you to confirm your request from the email address you originally contacted us with.

If we cannot resolve it together, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

Changes

This website is temporary: the new Jeroen's Espresso website is in development. If what we process changes, we will update this statement and the date at the top moves with it.
